The VME Card is capable of simultaneous sampling of the fast analogue signal with up to 250 MS/s. The bandwidth of the embedded memory is sufficient to store the data directly from the ADC or after DSP treatment in the FPGA. The Card also contains precision pulse generator capable of generation 4A pulses into 50Ohm load.To enable remote FPGA reconfiguration, there was implemented separate VME controller. It has form of a CPLD circuit, which performs as a bridge between VME and the local bus. The FPGA can be configured in two ways: from local FLASH memory or via VME controller. Despite of that, the FLASH memory can be programmed via VME. Embedded Gigabit Ethernet overcomes limits of the VME interface for hight data transfers.
